Experience & Education

Scott began his employment with Mad Dog Construction as an Assistant Superintendent and quickly progressed through the ranks to Project Manager. Before joining Mad Dog, Scott earned a B.S. in Management Information Systems from Florida State University and spent 6 years in the Information Technology industry in Tampa, Florida. He left a career with Raymond James in St. Petersburg, Florida to join the family business in Tallahassee and learn the trade from his father-in-law Laurie Dozier in 2003.

 

Scott has experience on many types of construction projects including educational facilities, commercial office space, retail, high-end custom homes, single family residences, and hospitality projects. Throughout Scott's career, he has consistently proven to be an indispensable asset in every role he holds.

Scott's Project Management responsibilities include solicitation of bids, subcontractor selection, contract preparation and administration, site personnel management, material acquisition, cost control, quality control, document management, conflict resolution, submittals, pay requests, Owner/Architect meetings, and general oversight of project activities.
